What type of information do we have

We currently collect and process the following information:

· Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)

· Name of person making contact

· Location of services to be carried out

· Number of services required

· Date of when services are required

· Information which you provide on the contact form

 

How we get the information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you via our website contact form or directly via email for one of the following reasons:

· To enable a quotation to be provided

· To discuss the availability of our services to you on the date requested

· To process a booking

· For an invoice to be created to secure the booking

 

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Mailchimp following a newsletter sign-up by you.

  • Mailerlite following a newsletter sign-up by you.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Nicola Waters at hello@nicolalouisemakeup.co.uk.

What we do with the information we have

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  •  Respond to enquiries made by you.

  •  To provide you with further information about our services and products.

  • To draw up an invoice for a confirmed booking.

  • For bookings confirmed the information is used for accounts purposes.

  • To keep you updated with news and tips through our newsletter where you have signed up to receive it.

We do not share this information with any third party. 

 

How we store your information

Your information is securely stored on a password-protected laptop, password-protected mobile phone and password-protected email. Newsletter sign-ups are stored securely with Mailchimp and Mailerlit is also password protected.

We keep your name, address, email address, contact number, services booked, date of services carried out, number of people requiring services and location of where the services were carried out for 7 years. We will then dispose of your information by deleting it all from every storage location.

 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
